The reusable plastic glasses offered by Astro are made in Sweden. Manufacturing process and the final product complies with European Union's regulations, for use with food. It's tightly controlled, unlike counterparts made outside of EU, for example China.
Manufacturing uses, special composition SAN plastic, that doesn't contain or release Bisphenol (BPA), Phthalate or other substances harmful to humans and environment. It was specially developed for use with food.
SAN plastic used in manufacturing of cups ensures good resistance to chemicals and temperatures between -40C and +90C. Cups can be machine-washed in +50C.
Material is recyclable.
